Espadrille.

Five years ago (make that five months) we would never have imagined ourselves wearing espadrilles, but when you bring Chanel and cute summer colours into the mix things change. Although we may be attracted to the same things when it comes to fashion, we always go for completely opposite palettes - Kate prefers lighter colours, whereas I opt for darker shades. We're hooked on these beauties already and can see ourselves wearing them all summer long with staples like denim shorts and slouchy, boyfriend jeans.

We still have plenty more posts from New York and Florida waiting in the queue, so expect to see plenty more content on the blog in the coming weeks x

Into the Wild.

Olivia's wearing: Zara shirt and shorts, Louis Vuitton bracelet, Karen Walker sunglasses, Michael Kors watch,
Jeffrey Campbell Everly boots, Alexander Wang bag.

I've developed a knack for buying things that are either ugly or really desirable, such as this muscle singlet. I was instantly attracted to the bear motif and the embellished neckline, but one could also say it's cheesy and a prime example of a bad find at Zara. I hate it when I realise that I've subconsciously matched an to the occasion, like with this singlet and Disney's Animal Kingdom park...but hey at least I didn't wear leopard print.

Disney.

As soon as we started planning our trips to the U.S we knew we both wanted to squeeze in a visit to Orlando, as we always went on family trips there as kids and have the fondest memories that we still relive to this day. Going back to Disneyworld felt exactly the same as it did all those years ago, whether you're a child or an adult it really is the happiest place on earth, we think it would be impossible to ever feel sad when you're there. From the vibrant colours, to the cheerful atmosphere, to the fun rides and the awesome food, Disneyworld is nothing short of amazing. We spent our first day in Orlando at Magic Kingdom and little did we know we had timed it well, because Fantasyland had just opened the day before. Although we may not be little enough to squeeze into princess outfits anymore, we still loved everything and have vowed to go back sooner rather than later.

Mickey.

Kate's wearing: Urban Outfitters singlet, Free People shorts, 3.1 Phillip Lim bag, Isabel Marant boots, Michael Kors watch,
bracelets from Gap, Urban Outfitters and Isabel Marant, Celine sunglasses.

Walking into the gates of Disneyworld for the first time in over ten years was one of the best feelings we've experienced in a long time. You can't quite describe the emotions that you feel when you're at a Disney park, especially to people who haven't been before  - but more on that later when we post our photo diaries.

Seeing we hadn't been immersed in the world of Disney for so long it felt only fitting to wear some cheesy, yet cute Mickey attire. One of the best aspects of our trip was the warm, sunny weather, which was a major shift from the cold, dreary weather in New York. It felt so weird to put on singlets and shorts, we felt so casual as we're used to wearing jackets and jeans. I decided to treat myself to a new pair of Celine sunglasses for summer; I love the shape of them and the amazing tortoiseshell colour. We have many more photos from our trip to post, including photos from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, which we visited for the first time.

Beanie Love.

Liv's wearing: Zara knit, Joe's Jeans, American Apparel beanie, Lovisa necklace, Hermes bracelet, Michael Kors watch,
 Zara boots, Alexander Wang bag.

I'll apologize in advance for the amount of times you will see this beanie on the blog. I resisted the need to buy one for weeks, despite the freezing cold weather here in New York. I just always thought that I couldn't pull them off and I had never found one that I actually liked. I'm strangely addicted to this American apparel one - I love the simple style of it and the dark, speckled farbic. I don't know why I didn't get one sooner, it's the perfect way to cover up my rapidly growing regrowth that I've acquired on this trip and it hides my hair when I'm too lazy to wash it. Another thing that I'm obsessed with are my studded Zara boots, they are insanely comfortable and I love the fact that they can be worn with casual pieces like jeans and sweaters, or they can be dressed up with leather and fur.

We are heading to Orlando, Florida today to visit all of theme parks that we went to when we were younger. We are so excited for the warm, tropical weather and we can't wait to spend hours at Disneyworld and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter! Expect to see some quirky outfit posts throughout our trip x

Winter Hues.

Kate's wearing: Zara knit, Liv's Shakuhachi jacket, J Brand boyfriend jeans, Urban Outfitters necklace and thin rings,
Michael Kors watch, Isabel Marant Dicker boots, 3.1 Phillip Lim bag, American Apparel nail polish.

It's strange how the weather can influence your mood and the outfits you choose to wear. Since I've been in New York I've preferred to wear darker, more sublte shades like maroon and black, due to the cold, often dull weather. As soon as I arrived I knew I had to expand my small collection of knits - if there's something our wardrobes are lacking it's definitely decent knitwear. I picked up this striped, mohair sweater from Zara, as I knew it could become a staple in my wardrobe for the duration of my trip. I've also stocked up on some new jewellery, which has mostly been simple, delicate pieces like thin rings and bracelets. I love wearing light, barely-there accessories at the moment, they're perfect for the cold weather when you don't want to put on clunky, cold pieces, but they're also great for summer, as I don't like wearing lots of jewellery in the heat.

These photos were taken in SoHo after an exhausting day of exploring and shopping - I could barely stand up by the end of it. Stay tuned for snaps of Liv's outfit in the coming days x

Festive.

Olivia's wearing: Zara knit, jacket and quilted pants, American Apparel beanie, Michael Kors watch, Mimco necklace,
heart ring from street vendor in New York, Kate's Isabel Marant sneakers.

This simple outfit is an example of how I love to dress when I'm shopping and exploring the city, because I like to consider comfort and style. All of these items are pieces that I can rotate easily because they're all really simple and versatile. I had been eyeing off a few rose gold watches for some time, but wasn't sure if I really needed one or if it would be a good investment; but the Micheal Kors boutique won me over, as they have such a wide selection and the prices are similar to what you'd pay online. Now I've become obsessed with any clothing item or piece of jewellery that has even a speck of rose gold, it's a nice change from the typical yellow gold or silver that I usually wear. In case you're wondering about the title of this post, I just felt a little bit festive when I was wearing this outfit, due to the red and green mix.

Today I am showing Kate around SoHo, so stay tuned for some more outfit posts x

Plaid.

Kate's wearing: Zara plaid shirt, J Brand denim jacket, J Brand coated jeans, American Apparel beanie,
Liv's Isabel Marant sneakers, 3.1 Phillip Lim Mini Pashli satchel, Heart ring from street vendor in New York, Urban Outfitters thin rings.

Yes, you're seeing clearly, this is an actual outfit post, something we haven't been able to produce for almost three months. We've been looking forward to shooting together in New York for so long and the results have definitely lived up to our expectations. This city truly is a photographer's dream, every place we explore is so picturesque, it's impossible to capture a bad photo.

Now to the important stuff, we are obsessed with our Zara studded, plaid shirts, I purchased the red in Hong Kong (which you will see on the blog soon) and I've been dying to wear Olivia's green one with rose gold detailing. One of the first things we wanted to do once we were reunited was swap sneakers for a day or two, that's one of the beauties of having a twin, we can wear each others clothes. You will also notice that this is my Pashli satchel's debut on the blog, purchasing this bag is a decision I will never regret - it's so practical and versatile. Make sure to check the blog tomorrow for shots of Liv's outfit of the day x
