Aloha.

Zimmermann bikini, Rag & bone fedora, ASOS sandals, Lomo fisheye camera.

Aloha from Hawaii! I (Liv) have been staying at Waikiki Beach for the past few days and am enjoying every minute of it. It feels so good to be experiencing summer again, I love just slipping on a bikini each day and spending all my time in the sun. The photo above features a few of my daily essentials, including the simple, black ASOS sandals that I finally managed to get my hands on after they were sold out for weeks. I first spotted them on Jessica Stein from Tuula and have wanted them ever since, as I desperately needed a pair of basic sandals for summer.

After Hawaii I'm off to Los Angeles and Las Vegas with Kate, so expect to see lots of snaps in the coming weeks...

Acid Bloom.

Liv's wearing: Sass and Bide tank, Shakuhachi 'Acid Bloom' running shorts, Rag & Bone fedora, PS11 mini, Jeffrey Campbell 'Everly' boots.

These Shakuhachi shorts were an item that I obsessively stalked online after I missed out on them when they were originally released last summer. I liked them as soon as I laid eyes on them, but I was overseas at the time in freezing cold weather, so it wasn't exactly practical for me to get a pair. However, my months of ruthless persistence paid off when I found them on Shakuhachi's website again recently. I love the simple cut of them, teamed with the light, silky fabric and the vibrant, floral pattern, they're perfect for the upcoming spring and summer weather. I may or may not have just purchased another pair of shorts which have also been on my wish list for what feels like a century...

Catara.

Kate's wearing: Zimmermann striped tee, Aje 'Catara' skirt, 3.1 Phillip Lim mini Pashli bag, Michael Kors watch, Isabel Marant sneakers.

This Aje Catara skirt is yet another piece that we both had to have, but of course we chose two different colours as it's not appropriate for us to wear identical outfits anymore, although we are often tempted to as our style is so similar. Whilst Liv opted for the green skirt, I was drawn to the maroon, as I've always loved the colour pink and anything else in that palette. We really enjoy experimenting with these skirts, as they can be worn with such an array of things in our wardrobes and for so many different occasions.

We moved house recently which has inspired us to discover new locations where we can shoot our upcoming blog spots. Finding places to shoot is one of the hardest parts about blogging, so a change in scenery is always welcomed. The location where we shot this post happens to be in our own backyard, which is a double bonus.
