Paree: Part Un.

Paris is one of those cities that is exactly how you imagine it to be. The buildings are all covered in shutters, with flowerpots hanging from the balconies, the croissants and crepes really do taste as amazing as you hoped they would and people actually do walk the streets carrying baguettes. This isn't my first time in the city of love, as I visited France with my family when I was ten, yet the reality of being in Paris again has definitely exceeded my memories. I am staying on the right bank in the 8th arrondissement, in a beautiful apartment that I rented through Airbnb (I would definitely recommend this site!) The apartment is in a very central location, which has made exploring even easier. Unfortunately I had to come to Paris by myself, however I have felt quite safe so far as I only wander the streets during the day and the metro system is extremely easy to navigate, I would say it's the most simple when you compare it to New York and London. I have only been here for two days and so far I have visited the Eiffel Tower (would you believe it is actually really difficult to get a decent photo of it?), Arc de triomphe, Champ Elysees, Moulin Rouge and Galeries Lafayette. There are still so many places I want to visit in Paris, so expect plenty more photos in the next few days. I'm off to eat another nutella crepe, Au Revoir x
